I know...can you believe it?  I'm posting today AND it is for good reason!  It is to help my friend, Danni, celebrate her birthday! Hey Danni--------
From Millan.Net

Today is the first of TWO Flutter By Wednesday blog hops to celebrate Danni's (the owner/creator of FBW) birthday! Today we have the friends of Danni fluttering along to share some amazing creations to inspire you!!

You should have fluttered here from Sandi's Blog if not--start at the beginning of the hop at the Flutter By Wednesday Blog.

Be sure to leave comments at each stop that you flutter to as there are some surprises hidden! You have until September 9th, 2013 at midnight CST to flutter along!

We hope that you’ll also join in this week’s challenge at Flutter By Wednesday which is anything goes with a butterfly or fairy! A little butterfly told us that if the challenge gets over 100 entries there will be a prize!!

Here’s my project for today~~

This card is a fun mix of SU! new/retired items as well as the beautiful butterfly that I added as the main focus that I got several years ago.  I wish I remembered where it came from by I don't.  I just love the eclectic look of this card with all the colors and different embellishment...FUN!

Now you should hop on to Kat's Blog! Don’t forget to flutter to the FBW Blog tomorrow for another hop full of more fluttery inspiration!!

Morning friends!  Can you believe it is August already?  Yikes, the time does fly!  Today I'm going to share a couple of birthday cards I've made.  I've pretty much returned to my clean and simple style as I just don't have the time to put all the little details on it when I'm making a card anymore.

Anyway, enjoy!

The above uses SU! designer series paper from the Birthday Basics and the stamp set is called Giggle Greetings.  The outside says 'birthdays are like hairballs' and the inside says 'the more you have the more you want to gag'.  Ha!  So funny!
And this one is the same Birthday Basics designer series paper but this stamp set is the Ronald McDonald House Charities set.  SU! donates $3 for each of these sets purchased to the Ronald McDonald House Charity.  To date SU! has contributed over $1,000,000 through their special stamp sets.  Isn't that ribbon beautiful?  It's the new chevron ribbon.  Chevron's are so in right now!

Just as a side note...I am still a SU! demo I just don't have a website that you can shop at anymore.  If you'd like to place an order through me just email me and I'll get it ordered for ya!

Military Retirement

Good morning all! I'm back for day two. Not sure I'll be back tomorrow...depends on what I get done today!
A friend of mine asked me to make a card for them to give to her husband's former commander.  I wasn't sure what I wanted to make so I just Googled military retirement card and clicked on images to take a look around.  When I saw this I knew I had to make one so...yes, this is an almost completely CASE'd card but I think it is great none the less so I thought I'd share.  All the stamps are from PaperTrey Ink and the papers are all from a Taylored Expressions 4th of July pack a year or two ago.  I kid you not...I had to re-stamp the sentiment on this card SIX times before it was straight enough for me to be happy with it.

I have some notebooks that I made for my teammates for the Origami Owl National Convention that I leave for on Thursday that I'd like to share with you guys but I have to see if I have time to photograph them first.  We shall see.  I may just take photos with my phone and be good with that.

Okay, gotta get my day started!  Have a wonderful one all!

I'm Back!!!

I bet you all thought I abandoned my blog, huh? Well, not really. Life just gets in the way sometimes.

I love that I've had the occasion to do some creating recently. Today I'm going to share the card I made for my hubby for the 4th of July. I don't normally make him a 4th of July card but I was struck at how different the 4th 'looks' to me know and wanted to tell him why and how much I appreciate him.

This card is 100% hand stamping and it is all from my friend, Kris's store at Imagine That! Lots and lots of fun stuff there!

I'm also posting this from my phone for the first time so if it looks bad please forgive me...I'll figure it out soon!

That said...I'll leave you with that for today. Make your Monday a fantastic one!

More candles...

Good morning all! No, I did not fall off the earth!  I've been here busy as always!  I'm just stopping in to show you the card I made for Kyler for his birthday that was at the beginning of the month.
This paper is paper from SAB then there is some Window Frame Framelits and a sentiment set that is now retired.  What is funny about this is that we had cupcakes so I put only one candle on it.  Sure wish I would have tried 15!  I used Tangerine Tango for the sentiment and to sponge the edges.

Well, that is about it.  I hope you all having been doing well.  Even if I am not leaving notes on your blog rest assured that I am looking and loving everything you are making and those vacations that you are taking!

Have a wonderful day all!
